Cat-food irradiation banned as pet theory proved

How sad that it has taken this long for the government to work out what was causing the deaths of many cats around Australia. For those that don’t have the history on this story a Canadian gourmet pet food called brand called Orijen was believed to be responsible for the deaths of many cats but it has now been proven that it was in fact the governments requirement of irradiating imported pet food which contaminated and poisoned the cats.

This is a sad story about some reported cat deaths which are suspected to be a result of the cats eating the brand Orijen cat food brand from Canada. Rest asured the Star Pets site does not and has never stocked this brand.
